It is a tried and true product that has undergone an evolutionary development process over many years. Based on the ongoing needs of various clients, features have been revised and updated. New functionality has been developed as processes and functions evolve and change within organizations. We strive to provide solid technical solutions with customized modules as required by the client, unlike many larger off the shelf, third party, content management systems.
Implementing NetEncore’s CMS has many advantages over a shrink wrapped or open source product. Our CMS is an in‐house development and the knowledge of our CMS internal systems is unparalleled. We wrote the code and understand the optimum way to adapt our product to meet any website need. The software copyright of our CMS is owned by NetEncore. Our clients don’t share the concerns of open source product users and associated End‐User License Agreements (EULA).
The NetEncore website management framework provides a secure, robust and very flexible, user-friendly web CMS platform. Components, such as dynamic horizontal menus, navigation bread crumb trails and footers are brought together in a very re-usable way as master pages make up the website. With these components and the use of inheritance technology, there are many benefits to developing the website(s) in this manner. As an example, building a consistent footer that is defined and placed once – yet displays consistently on every page makes website management simple.
The publishing of specific pages and/or content is dynamically controlled within the CMS and authority levels are fully customizable by website administrators. The level of authority is granular, at the lowest level an individual website editor can be granted authority to maintain only a single piece of content on a single page. Of course these authorizations can be group together, combined and allocated to multiple user groups, providing ultimate flexibility. Typically, website authors and editors using our CMS require surprisingly little training and are able to fully maintain their new website within a matter of hours.
Content version control can be configured for individual page controls and workflow processes established to validate content changes.
Our CMS is economic, our clients only pay for the CMS customisation required to meet their business needs and a nominal one time license fee, unlike many other CMS offerings NetEncore’s CMS does not incur any additional licensing costs, annual or otherwise.
